Ten years ago, a simple act of reaching out turned into something none of us could have imagined. What started as a space for women to speak openly and support one another has become a movement, a lifeline, and a revolution in sisterhood.
As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Women for Women, we’re not just looking back—we’re stepping forward. And we want you to walk with us.
The very first message on the group wasn’t about activism or advocacy. It was a call for support, a space to share, and a safe corner of the internet where women could simply… be real. Be seen. Be heard.
Since then, Women for Women has become a powerful community of women lifting each other up, challenging harmful narratives, and making space for stories that too often go untold. We’ve talked about motherhood, menopause, mental health, relationships, careers, sexuality, trauma, joy, and everything in between. Nothing has ever been too small, too messy, or too much.
Over the years, thousands of women have joined the conversation—and more than that, they’ve taken action. The group became a place to ask for help, offer support, fundraise for women and children in crisis, and eventually, form the Women for Women Foundation.
From providing baby essentials and emergency funds to supporting single mothers and survivors of domestic violence, the Foundation now works every day to give women the tools and resources they need to rebuild. What sets it apart is its heart: this isn’t just charity. This is community-led solidarity.

To celebrate 10 years of Women for Women, we’re organising a 10K walk—and we’d love you to be part of it. This is the perfect moment to come together and honour the journey we’ve shared and the paths we’ve each walked—some joyful, some painful, all powerful.

Women for Women didn’t begin as a movement. It became one. It grew because of the women who showed up, shared their truth, lifted others, and weren’t afraid to challenge what needed changing.
Together, we’ve pushed for policy change. We’ve stood up for women’s health, choice, and dignity. We’ve educated, encouraged, cried, and celebrated. From the launch of our Foundation, to our Women’s Health & Wellbeing Expo, to the daily behind-the-scenes support that changes lives quietly but deeply—this community is proof that when women come together, incredible things happen.
And we’re just getting started.
We’d love for you to walk with us—not just in celebration of the past 10 years, but in recognition of what we can achieve in the next 10. Your story, your voice, your steps… they matter.
