Dr. Yvette Zahra is a Dental Surgeon practising at Xarolla Dental Clinic in Żurrieq. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BChD) from the University of Malta in 2003. Initially, she co-founded a part-time private practice with her sister, Dr. Ethel Vento Zahra, while both were also employed by the National Health Service. Over time, as her practice expanded and her family grew, Yvette transitioned to focus fully on private practice, with a particular interest in pediatric and preventive care. 

Following the passing of her sister in 2022, she now manages the practice while raising her young family. She tries to provide compassionate and high-quality dental care in a welcoming environment. Yvette’s approach emphasizes not just treatment but also education, empowering patients and families to take an active role in their oral health. 

In her spare time, Yvette enjoys exploring new destinations with her family and unwinding with a good book. She is inspired by her sister’s memory of enjoying life and making lasting memories, and she tries to balance the demands of managing a practice with her commitment to creating meaningful memories with her loved ones. She is married with two daughters, Juliet & Emma, and enjoys spending time with her niece Leah, who she loves as one of her own.
